My Big Brother

Never before have I ever seen my big brother cry, except for last night.

We were talking about how he feels bad about not coming up and watching us grow up how he wanted. And my mother is to blame, not really wanting him here. He was saying how he was trying not to bitch and argue with mom.

He spoke about how my dad wants to leave my Mom at times, but wont because of his last divorce; My big brother barely could see us because of the break-up between my father and his mom. Dad wants to be with us and he'll bare with mom's shit.

He told me about how he wants to move closer to where we are so we can see him more often since he lives across the state, practically. And how he's going to take time off for a certain event this summer.

He told me how selfish he was when I was first born and how he loathed me for a while. We talked about how much we'd miss our home and how it hurt a little to watch this house be slowly forgotten.I remember how we had bunkbeds and how old they were...

He told me how sorry he was about not being here more often...

...And then he cried.
